Fundraiser & Funding Administrator (part-time)

Job Specification

The Corinne Burton Memorial Trust (CBMT) was founded by Sir Michael Burton following the death of his artist and illustrator wife Corinne from cancer in 1992. It is the only charity in the UK that supports the practice of Art Psychotherapy for cancer care.

CBMT has played a fundamental role in the development of this field through several initiatives; through direct support of art therapist positions at hospitals (currently, St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, referred to hereafter as “Barts”), through the publication of materials and books, and through the funding of a scholarship at Goldsmiths University for new art therapists specialising in cancer care. After graduating, CBMT funds the scholarship recipients to do another two years working at Barts as qualified art therapists, delivering services to cancer care patients.
