Publications and Books in the Field

In order to help increase awareness of the art therapy field, the Corinne Burton Memorial Trust (CMBT) has assisted with the funding of a number of publications, including the seminal works ‘Something Understood: Art Therapy in Cancer Care’ by Camilla Connell and ‘Art Therapy in Cancer Care,’ by Prof Diane Waller and Caryl Sibbett, which included many chapters contributed by CBMT alumni. 

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of CBMT, we also published our own book, incorporating the stories and experiences of twenty-six of the CBMT alumni in their practice of art therapy in the UK. Following a successful online fundraiser, this went through to a second print run. We are now sending out to university libraries to help continue spreading knowledge and awareness of the field.
